"After just a one hour parent consult with Karen, I have a better understanding of my daughter's strengths and needs and feel more empowered to support her on her learning journey with the strategies and resources Karen provided. Karen has a wealth of knowledge that she pairs with a kind and compassionate demeanour. This combination is a life saver for a parent trying to navigate these uncharted waters. Thank you Karen! Dyslexia is a specific learning difference characterized by difficulties with accurate word recognition, poor spelling and decoding abilities, resulting in problems with reading, writing, spelling and reading comprehension.

The Orton-Gillingham

approach, developed for individuals with dyslexia, is an approach to literacy instruction, which specifically and successfully targets areas of need in reading, writing, spelling and more.

Quality individualized instruction is provided to meet the needs of students with dyslexia, and other related learning differences. Lessons are multisensory with visual, auditory and kinesthetic components.
